Candidates for Congress face off in PG



PACIFIC GROVE – The race to June 7 primary to fill the seat of retiring U.S. Rep. Sam Farr in Congress has attracted five candidates with a wide variety of backgrounds – an ironworker, author, prosecutor, college professor and a surfer.

They all were formally introduced to voters on the Monterey Peninsula Wednesday night at a candidates forum held by the League of Women Voters.
